[he...doesn't actually know where mr beck lives, and he really doesn't want to ruin their relationship by adding him to the list of people to stalk. so rather than rely on sneaking a present in to his house, peter ends up leaving a box in his office at the cinema instead. inside, there's a (working) model vitascope for him to build. because apparently movies are their bonding point.

along with the model though, there's a note that reads:

Mr Beck,

I wasn't really sure what to get you, and I don't even know if you celebrate Christmas or not. So this is more of a thank you than anything. I haven't really known you for long, and I know it's probably tough haven't to deal with me not remembering you, but you've still been a good friend to me.
