With a great interest in films, Quentin Beck can be be found going out to various movies. From classics of every decade to random more obscure titles, he'll have a preference for those with practical special effects or more modern visual effects.

He's usually on his own but maybe you joined him, if you've already met. Or you just find yourself sitting next to him; behind; in front; or nearby. Great effects will make him sit forward intently or provoke an appreciative remark; bad effects may bring about random negative comments or loud sighs.

Typical clothing: Smart casual in blacks, greens and earthy colours; possibly a touch of purple.
Superhero clothing: Gold armour chestplate; fancy burgundy cape - both lit up with pale blue-ish lights. Green bodysuit; gold boots. Gold gloves and gauntlets.

Powers: Genius intellect and also a tech genius, Beck has invented a revolutionary holographic system that taps into the brain itself, using the subject's memories, emotions and feelings to create or recreate near perfect illusions. He's also a master manipulator, able to win people over with charm and cunning.

Non canon powers (at Mask or Menace exclusively): Beck at MoM has all the powers he's shown off in Far From Home, except here they're real and not trickery or special effects. He can manipulate energy to form green offensive lasers or defensive barriers. He has the power of flight, propelled by tech on his suit. He can create distracting green smoke. He's also resilient and more agile. For any and all of these powers to work he has to be wearing his superhero suit. Think of them all as advanced and technology-based, with maybe a touch of magic brought to reality by the Porter.

Flaws: Despite his intelligence, he's very near-sighted and narrow-minded and has an ego the size of the moon. He's always looking out for himself first and if anybody stands in the way of his goals he won't hesitate to crush them - even if he likes them. He lies frequently for his own gain. Therefore, he cannot be trusted at his word, but not all will see through the often convincing mask of heroic compassion that he puts up. He may present as over the top at times but that in itself isn't proof of his lies.

Essentially, though, Quentin Beck is a delusional asshole with a hero complex.
